At Fresh Meats, we pride ourselves on the development of our HACCP-based quality system, which is approved and audited by Safe Food Queensland. We conduct ongoing internal audits to ensure the safety and integrity of our operations, and therefore our products and services.

Staff Accountability

Employees have the responsibility of conducting quality assurance checks each day that we open our doors. Team members monitor Critical Control Points within their work areas in line with the company’s Food Safety Program. Skills matrices and work manuals are updated for all machinery and equipment in order to maintain a multi-skilled workforce.

Continuous Cold Chain

To ensure optimal shelf life, products are always transported, stored and selected in temperature-controlled environments. Cool room facilities and our delivery vehicles are monitored regularly to ensure an unbroken cold storage chain, from the moment we receive goods to when they are displayed on our shelves or delivered to our customers.
