Yes & No.

If you contact us before 5 pm the night prior to the Delivery Date you will be able to amend your order. However, as we do pack orders overnight we will not be able to make any alterations after that cut-off period.

All Fresh Meats orders will be left on your doorstep if you are not home at the time of delivery. Chilled or frozen products may spoil or melt if left unrefrigerated so we recommend that someone is at home to receive them. If this is not possible, please leave an esky or icebox so that we can leave your delivery inside with some ice.

We do not accept responsibility for items that could not be received in person at the time of delivery and therefore left unsupervised. Fresh Meats advises that you follow Australian Government guidelines with your food items, whether you purchase them in-store or online. Food Standards Australia Website advises that chilled items left out for:

  • Less than 2 hours can be used or put back in the refrigerator to use later
  • 2-4 hours can still be used, but shouldn’t be put back in the fridge for use later
  • More than 4 hours are at risk of contamination and should be discarded.

Please visit the Food Standards Australia website for more details.

We charge a flat delivery fee of $15 for all orders.

Yes. Our minimum order is $50.

All of our products are gluten-free except Chicken Schnitzels.

All of our products are Halal Certified by an independent certifier, except Pork. We are audited to ensure proper segregation during the transport, manufacturing, and storage of Pork products.

Our sausages are primarily…. along with trim, which are small pieces of meat and fat cut from popular items such as rump, sirloin et cetera so that we can still use the perfectly good meat. Larger cuts are trimmed to perfection then the ‘trim’ go to sausages. Our sausages typically have x% meat, x% fat.

Our beef mince is grass-fed, hormone-free, from the local Maleny/Mary River area. We also stock Organic Rib Fillet, Sirloin, and Whole Chickens.

All of our chickens are RSPCA accredited.

Our beef cuts come from South East Queensland; predominantly Kilcoy, Oakey, and Grantham. The Budget cuts are grass-fed and from Cows. The Yearling cuts are MSA certified and finished on grain to ensure tender, consistent eating quality.

Our Lamb predominantly comes from Tasmania and Victoria. We do source Lamb from South Western Queensland when the season allows. All Lamb is grass-fed.

Our Pork comes from the grain-growing Burnett region of Queensland. Our chicken is grown around the Glass House Mountains on the Sunshine Coast in barns.

Fresh Meats actively supports numerous local schools, sporting clubs, charities, and other organisations every year, some as long-term commitments and others as one-off events. While we receive multiple requests from many worthwhile causes every week, it is not possible to support all of them at the requested time. You are welcome to send us a message on the Contact Us page so that we are aware of your request as we review our sponsorship budget on an ongoing basis.
