Turkey and Cranberry Sausage Rolls

INGREDIENTS


Turkey, chopped finely
Stuffing
3 tbsp Dried Cranberries, chopped
4 sheets Puff Pastry
1 tbsp English Mustard
1 Egg, beaten
Salt
Freshly Ground Pepper
1/2 cup Cranberry Sauce

METHOD


Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Grease two baking trays.

Combine the turkey, stuffing, dried cranberries and some salt and pepper into a bowl and mix well.

Cut a sheet of pastry in half.

Brush a little mustard onto the cut sheet of pastry.

Add 1½ tbsp of turkey mixture along one edge of the pastry.

Add 1 tsp of cranberry sauce along the same edge of the pastry.

Roll up and press to seal.

Cut into give smaller roles.

Repeat with remaining turkey mixture and pastry.

Using a sharp knife, mark three lines in the top of each roll.

Brush rolls with egg.

Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and pepper.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Eat warm with cranberry sauce. Merry Christmas!
